I leave for work around 6:30 a.m. each day. I live in a semi-rural suburb about 60 miles west of Chicago. I work 30 miles east of my home. Each day, I travel east toward the rising sun. For the past several days, my drive has been nothing but gloomy clouds over the bare farm fields. Today however, I was in awe of the beautiful red, orange, and yellow sunrise. The SUN! It made me so happy, I wanted so badly to take a picture. I knew though, that the camera on my phone wouldn´t do it justice. So, I did my best to commit the image to my memory, and enjoy the beautiful day. It´s amazing what a little sunshine can do for one´s soul.
